Andersen at the Nordic Countries booth — UNIS Hanoi Spring Fair 2026

On 22 March 2026, Andersen Nordic Bakery took part in the UNIS Hanoi Spring Fair on the school’s campus. We joined the Nordic Countries booth, a space representing the Nordic countries and organised by the Nordic embassies.

An annual gathering for Andersen

Taking part in UNIS Hanoi Spring Fair is an annual tradition for Andersen Nordic Bakery. We are proud to be invited by the Scandinavian embassies to join this event and share Nordic flavours and baking traditions with the school community. Each return gives us an opportunity to continue existing connections and introduce our bakery’s story to new friends.

A community gathering across cultures

The Spring Fair brought school families, staff and friends together around food, games and performances. Within that gathering, the Nordic booth gave Andersen a setting to share our bakery’s story with Hanoi’s international community.

Bread and the people behind it

Our photograph from the fair captures the Andersen team beside the bread counter, beneath the blue NORDIC COUNTRIES sign. Round loaves, long breads and sweet bakes fill the display, with Nordic flags arranged around the stall. It is a record of our bakery taking its place in a shared cultural space.

For Andersen, bread offers an approachable way into a conversation about food and culture. The daily work of nurturing a starter, fermenting dough and shaping loaves is where that story begins. Community occasions give us a chance to carry it beyond the bakery.

Joining the Nordic Countries booth forms part of Andersen’s connection with Nordic communities in Vietnam. We keep this moment in our Journal as a memory of the people and the bread that came together at Spring Fair 2026.
